FED:Drivers told 'hang in' for electric cars

Australian drivers .. fed up with high petrol costs over Easter are being urged to
hang in there for an electric car.

National average petrol prices have hit a 30-month high ahead of the long holiday weekend.

Electric vehicle services provider Better Place Australia says Australians in the market
for a new car in the next 12 to 18 months should note that electric cars are coming.

Better Place Australia is building infrastructure across Australia to service the growing
market for electric cars .. beginning in Canberra later this year .. and plans to extend
its national coverage from late 2012.
