FED:US jobless rate encouraging: Swan
CANBERRA, Feb 4 AAP - Treasurer Wayne Swan says it's encouraging news that the unemployment
rate in the United States has fallen to its lowest level in nearly three years.
The US jobless rate fell for the fifth consecutive month to 8.3 per cent.
As well, the American economy created 243,000 jobs in January, the most in nine months.
