NSW: Airport quiet as Qantas strike begins

Sydney Airport's Qantas terminal remains quiet this morning ahead of a strike by 6,000workers around the country over pay and job security.

More than 22 flights from Sydney have been cancelled and passengers could face lengthydelays at check-in terminals during peak-hours.

Australian Service Union workers walked off the job this morning demanding a five percent pay increase.

Among those affected by the strike are the AFL Brisbane Lions and NRL Brisbane Broncosteams which have been forced to change their flights.
